OSR Outreach Program

The Ohio State Reformatory would like to engage with the local community by offering informational visits to libraries, social clubs, associations, nursing homes, and other organizations whose members would like to hear more about the history of the Reformatory, but may not be able to attend in person.

We will send one of our staff members to give a 30-minute presentation (with time for questions at the end) on one of the following topics: Reformatory History, Famous Inmates, Wardens of OSR, The Shawshank Redemption, or Inmate Processing and Procedures. 

There is no cost for this service for organizations within a 15-mile radius of the Reformatory, although donations are always appreciated. If you are more than 15-miles from the Reformatory, we will charge a small fee for travel time and mileage.
